Our Board & Train program is the most immersive training option we offer. Your dog will live in our home for the duration of their stay, becoming part of our daily routine while receiving structured, professional training tailored to their individual needs.
Unlike traditional boarding facilities where dogs may spend much of the day in kennels, our Board & Train dogs receive 24/7 supervision, daily interaction, structured enrichment, and training integrated into real-life situations. This allows us to create lasting behavioural change through consistency and repetition.
For many owners, Board & Train is the perfect 2-in-1 solution. Whether you're heading on vacation, travelling for work, or simply looking to fast-track your dog's training, your dog receives professional care while making meaningful progress every single day.
Program Pricing
Board & Train starts at $1,000 CAD per week.
Dogs requiring intensive behaviour modification, including severe reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, or other complex behavioural concerns, may require a longer stay and are priced accordingly based on the individual case.
Every dog receives a customized training plan designed around their goals and needs.
Recommended Program Length
2 Weeks (Minimum Recommended)

- Greater consistency and proofing in real-world environments
4+ Weeks
Recommended for:
- Severe leash reactivity
- Aggression cases
- Resource guarding
- Fear-based behaviours
- Complex behaviour modification requiring additional structure and rehabilitation
Every dog progresses at their own pace, and we will recommend the appropriate program length after reviewing your dog's history and training goals.
What's Included
Every Board & Train program includes everything your dog needs for a safe, comfortable, and successful stay.
Your dog will receive:
- 24/7 supervision in our home
- Daily structured training sessions
- Structured exercise and enrichment
- Daily routines that reinforce calm behaviour and obedience
- Treats, toys, bones, and rewards
- Food and water dishes
- Crates and bedding (when appropriate)
- Regular photo and video updates sent to owners
- Personalized homework and training notes
- A comprehensive Go Home Session at pickup
- Ongoing support by text after your dog goes home
The only thing owners need to provide is their dog's food, along with any medications or supplements.
Complimentary K9 Odyssey Gear
Every Board & Train dog receives a complimentary handmade K9 Odyssey BioThane leash and collar set, handcrafted by us.
Owners get to choose their preferred colour, so their dog goes home with a custom set that's built to last.
If your dog's training requires additional walking equipment such as a slip lead or Herm Sprenger prong collar, these tools are also included at no additional cost. We believe dogs should leave with the equipment needed to maintain their training rather than requiring owners to purchase additional tools afterward.
Optional E-Collar Conditioning
For owners interested in achieving reliable off-leash freedom and communication, Mini Educator e-collar conditioning can be added to any Board & Train program for $300 + HST.
This includes:
- Mini Educator remote collar system
- Professional e-collar conditioning during your dog's stay
- Owner instruction during the Go Home Session
- Guidance on proper use and long-term maintenance
This add-on is completely optional and recommended only when appropriate for the individual dog and owner's goals.
Go Home Session & Ongoing Support
Training doesn't end when your dog leaves our home.
At pickup, we'll spend time teaching you everything your dog has learned during their stay. This comprehensive Go Home Session ensures you understand the training system, handling techniques, and how to maintain your dog's progress at home.
You'll also receive homework and recommendations tailored specifically to your dog.
Even after the program is complete, you're never on your own. You're always welcome to reach out by text with questions or for additional guidance.
We firmly believe that owner consistency and ongoing communication with your trainer are the biggest factors in long-term success. Dogs learn quickly, but maintaining those results depends on continuing the training at home and staying accountable.
